On October 24, the Hong Kong Australian Business Association announced its 2003 Business Awards in Sydney. The awards recognise excellence in the importing and exporting of goods and services between Australia and Hong Kong / Greater China and we are very proud to announce that IPS Worldwide won one of the major awards of the evening.

IPS Worldwide was asked, by the State Chamber of Commerce, if we would like to send a team to be part of the inaugural Company Cooks Award run by the Sydney Fish Market. We all had good fun preparing the dishes and there was definitely an air of competitiveness while waiting for the judges to make a decision. Much to our delight we were among the groups chosen to go forward to the final and returned to go through the whole process again.

The Sydney weekly news paper Business Sydney has awarded IPS one of the top 25 Women Owned Businesses in NSW. Year 1998 is the second year of the annual award and IPS Managing Director, Robin Smith, accepted the reward at a lunch held at Sydney’s Regent Hotel.

A variety of fires which started in December 2002 resulted in Victoria's largest bushfire since the devastating fires of 1939.  In the 59 days that followed the Department of Sustainability & Environment were supported by diverse range of support agencies.  IPS Worldwide was one of these organisations.
